I would use online search terms to locate comfortable chairs for the dining table and the computer desk. Once I found something, I’d find the measurement for the width and height of the seat, and if it weren’t given, I’d write customer service for them.

If the heights of the dining table and desk would prevent the heights of the two chairs, I would then go to Dr. Leonard’s online for the necessary height-from-the-floor adjustment equipment for the legs of the table and desk, and use customer service at that site if necessary, too.

Then I’d seek strong friends to lift those two pieces of furniture to install the eight height adjustments. If I had no strong friends, I’d call United Way, the Salvation Army or a local church outreach program for getting a couple or three men over.

Try a catalog like Dr. Leonards or Home trends..I have seen a chair pad that is a lift..it is portable so can be used when you travel or even move from chair to chair..cost is around $ 100.00..as you start to stand it gives you a boost which makes standing much easier..Found a picture @ http://www.mtsmedicalsupply.com it works up to 300 lbs, but if you are able to give it some help with your arms it should do you just fine..
